Grown in south Asia, Turmeric is a herb in the ginger family and was first known as Indian Saffron.

Turmeric itself is derived from the root system of bulbous rhizomes. These are boiled, dried, then ground into a deep yellowish orange powder generally used to make curry.

Perhaps more importantly, Turmeric also has many medicinal properties and has been used traditionally for thousands of years.

Turmeric's active medicinal ingredient is a compound called Curcumin.

Bromelain is an extract derived from the stems of pineapples and has many health promoting properties. It is combined with Turmeric as it enhances Turmeric absorption.

Suggested use:
1 capsule, 1 - 2 times per day preferably with meals, or as directed by a health professional.

Other ingredients:
Di-calcium phosphate, gelatin capsule (gelatin, purified water), magnesium stearate (vegetable grade).

Contains no artificial preservatives, colour or sweeteners; no corn, dairy, soy, wheat or yeast.
