Ginger, or Ginger Root, is the rhizome (subterranean stem) of the plant Zingiber officinale. It has been used for centuries in Asian countries as a delicacy, medicine and spice. Other plants in the ginger family include turmeric, cardamom and galangal.

Ginger is a stimulating herb and warming to the system. The major active ingredients are terpenes (similar to the chemical action of turpentine) and an oleo-resin called ginger oil. These two, and other active ingredients in ginger provide its host of beneficial properties.

Nature's Way Ginger Root is guaranteed to contain 1.3% essential oils gingerol and shogaol.

Suggested use:
Take 2 capsules two to four times daily, or as needed.
