What are the key ingredients?
MegaMag PeriMeno Plus features a targeted combination of nutrients including well-researched vitamins, minerals and herbs that work in unison to provide relief from perimenopausal symptoms:

- Magnesium: Reduces tiredness and low energy levels, provided in a glycinate form which is highly absorbable and gentle on the stomach.

- Vitamins B6, B12 and folate: In their active forms, to support healthy hormone balance and the nervous system, including anxiety and low mood.

- Vitamin C: Commonly depleted by HRT medications, which are frequently taken by women experiencing menopausal symptoms. Vitamin C is an important antioxidant which supports immune function.

- Botanicals: Ashwagandha, rhodiola, sage, shatavari and red clover, provided as standardised extracts which guarantee the consistency of each herb from batch to batch.

What does perimenopause do to your body?
During the perimenopause, levels of oestrogen in the body begin to rise and fall unevenly, causing your menstrual cycle to lengthen or shorten. You may begin having menstrual cycles in which your ovaries don't release an egg (ovulate). You may also experience menopause-like symptoms, such as hot flushes, sleep concerns, mood changes and vaginal dryness.

Who is MegaMag PeriMeno Plus for?
MegaMag PeriMeno Plus is specifically designed for women aged 40 and over to provide support through the perimenopausal and menopausal years. It can be difficult for women to consumer enough magnesium through diet alone so deficiency is common throughout the menopause. MegaMag® PeriMeno Plus could also be taken by post-menopausal women, if symptoms continue and support is required.

Can I take MegaMag PeriMeno Plus whilst on HRT?
Yes, it can be taken safely alongside HRT medication.

How long before I feel an effect?
There are a range of different ingredients in MegaMag PeriMeno Plus which have been designed to combat a range of symptoms so it’s likely you will notice different symptoms reductions after different time periods. For example, magnesium can support areas of health such as sleep, and some people may notice a difference in just a few days. Other ingredients, such as sage, which can support hot flashes, may take a little longer.

Studies have shown that sage can decrease symptoms such as hot flashes after 4 weeks and 8 weeks; and that Ashwagandha, at a dose of 300mg daily, has been shown to improve quality of life scores in menopausal women. This is highly dependent on the individual as well but we’d recommend taking MegaMag PeriMeno Plus for a period of 8 – 10 weeks to ensure you are feeling the full benefits.

Dosage:
Mix one scoop (5.8g) into between 150 - 250ml water (dilute to your personal preference) and stir or shake.

Can I mix with anything other than water?
Yes, as long as the food/drink is no hotter than room temperature

Can I mix up and drink it throughout the day?
We recommend you drink it within 30 minutes of mixing

Why is there a red plastic capsule in the powder?
The red plastic capsule contains silica which is a dessicant to stop the powder becoming moist once opened. It should not be consumed.

Other ingredients:
Steviol glycosides, Guar gum, Natural orange flavour, Maltitol, Citric acid, Maltodextrin.

Suitability:
MegaMag PeriMeno Plus suitable for women from the age of 40 as they move through the perimenopausal and menopausal years.

Can also be taken by post-menopausal women if these symptoms persist.

This product contains 12.5mg of vitamin B6. Long term intakes of this amount of vitamin B6 may lead to mild tingling and numbness.
