CogniFit is a comprehensive formula designed to provide nourishment and support for the structure and function, including concentration, learning and memory, of the brain. Protecting this valuable organ is incredibly important and requires a range of key nutrients including vitamins, minerals, omega-3 fatty acids and plant extracts.

The brain structure is highly vulnerable to damage by everyday exposure to harmful free radicals which cause damage to our cells. Key nutrients including alpha lipoic acid, green tea, curcumin, vitamin E and ginkgo biloba play an essential role in protecting our cells from oxidative damage.

Studies continue to show that raised homocysteine (a substance known to be toxic to the brain) levels significantly increase the likelihood of cognitive decline. Homocysteine is a naturally occurring amino acid produced as part of the body's methylation process and a breakdown product of potein metabolism. Folate, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12 all contribute to normal homocysteine metabolism by changing it into other substances your body needs. These vitally important B vitamins are present within CogniFit, in the most bioavailable, active, body-ready forms, with B6 as pyridoxal-5-phosphate, B12 as methylcobalamin and folate as 5-MTHF.

DHA and EPA are omega-3 essential fatty acids found in oily fish. DHA is a structural component of cell membranes, and contributes to normal brain function. This effect is achieved with an intake of at least 250mg per day – the amount of DHA within each CogniFit capsule. EPA supports balanced inflammatory processes - inflammation in the brain is closely linked to neurodegenerative disease.

What is Cognizin?
Cognizin is a clinically studied form of citicoline which is a naturally occuring nutrient found in the brain. It increases phosphatidylcholine, a phospholipid that forms part of cell membranes, which is critical for brain function. Clinical studies have shown Cognizin® improves mental energy, focus and attention in addition to positive effects on several cognitive domains.

Dosage:
Take 1 capsule daily, or as directed by your healthcare practitioner.
Children 6-12 years: 1 capsule daily.
Can capsule be opened and sprinkled onto food? No.
