What is monolaurin?
Monolaurin is a mono-ester formed from glycerol and lauric acid, thought to have antimicrobial and immune supporting properties. Lauric acid is a fatty acid, found in coconut oil. Once ingested, the human body converts lauric acid to monolaurin, however, researchers are unsure of the conversion rates and the amount of coconut oil that would ultimately need to be consumed in order to achieve a therapeutic dose of monolaurin in the body. It's thought that it may be a significant amount of coconut oil, which may be unrealistic to consume on a daily basis, and therefore capsules offer a convenient alternative.

1 or 2 capsules daily with meals, or as directed.
