» What is Zeolite?

Zeolite is a naturally occurring mineral of volcanic origin formed millions of years ago, when lava and ash fell into the sea.

Zeolite clinoptilolite  is a mineral with unique and remarkable properties. Its open molecular structure and naturally occurring negative charge means Zeolite acts like a cage, trapping positively charged particles such as heavy metals, environmental pollutants, potentially harmful radiation and pesticides. This negative charge allows Zeolite to attract positively charged particles like a magnet. They are then excreted through the body's natural eliminatory channels in a safe and effective manner.

Potential benefits of daily supplementation with Zeolite include detoxification of heavy metals, cleansing of the intestinal tract, reduction of free radicals, balancing pH levels and increasing the assimilation and absorption of nutrients.

» Zeolite; digging deeper...

Clinoptilolite Zeolite has been proven to absorb toxins and heavy metals from the body as well as boosting the immune system. Actual Clinoptilolite Zeolite is shaped like a honey-comb and carries a natural negative (-) charge. When this type of Zeolite is ingested into the body, all of the positively charged (+) heavy metals, toxins and harmful chemical bond with the Zeolite and are flushed out with the urine.

What about the minute traces of naturally occurring heavy metals found in Zeolite? Does it pose a health risk? No. It is well documented and fundamental to toxicology that for minerals to be absorbed by the body, they must bind to an enzyme. Both toxic and non-toxic minerals bind to the same enzyme. When there are large amounts of major non-toxic elements (beneficial minerals etc) and minute trace amounts of toxic elements, they compete to bind to the same enzyme. As the result the toxic elements are essentially ‘outnumbered’ and therefore are not made bio-available to the body, i.e. are not absorb by the cells.
