» What is Graviola?

Graviola, also known as soursop, is grown in the Caribbean, Central America and Mexico. The evergreen graviola tree grows to about 5 metres tall and has adapted to areas of the world with high humidity and relatively warm winters. Temperatures below 5°C will damage the plant: below 3°C will kill it.

Graviola's claim to fame is it's cytotoxic properties. More than 34 cytotoxic compounds have been isolated from Graviola, some of them being up to 100 million times more potent than commonly used cytotoxic compounds.

Graviola’s active ingredient is called Annonaceous Acetogenin. People in African and South American countries have used graviola medicinally for years

Caution: do not take this product if you have any neurodegenerative disorders or Parkinson’s disease, or are taking any anti – hypertensive (high blood pressure) or MAO inhibiter (anti depressant) medications.
