» What is Boswellia?
The Boswellia tree belongs to the Sapindale order of trees and shrubs, known for their fragrant resin.
Boswellia resin has been used traditionally for thousands of years and is used extensively in Ayurvedic medicine. It contains a component called boswellic acid which is responsible for its many beneficial properties.
Boswellia is still widely used today and has many pharmacological uses.

Boswellia resin was so highly prized it was given to the infant Jesus by one of the Three Wise Men (another name for Boswellia resin is Frankincense).
