What is Wellmune Beta 1-3/1-6 Glucans?
Beta glucans are one of the most widely studied and effective natural substances for supporting balanced immune function. They are naturally found in foods such as baker's yeast, mushrooms and cereal grains like barley, oats, rye and wheat. Wellmune® is a gluten-free yeast beta 1-3/1-6 glucan. Using a proprietary process, Wellmune® is extracted from the cell wall of a proprietary strain of baker's yeast. Wellmune is a unique ingredient as it is able to support the immune system, without overstimulating it. Wellmune® is taken up into the body through specialised immune tissues in the intestines. There, immune cells engulf Wellmune and reduce it into smaller fragments that bind to neutrophils, the most abundant immune cells in the body. Primed by Wellmune, neutrophils move more quickly to recognize and kill foreign agents before an immune response is mounted.

Zinc is an important trace mineral and is involved in over 300 reactions in the body. It contributes to healthy bones, hair, nails and skin as well as vision. It has a role in cell division and is essential for normal fertility and reproduction. Vitamin C contributes to the normal function of the nervous system and physchological function. It also supports collagen formation, collagen is required for blood vessels, bones, cartilage, gums, teeth and skin.

Are the high strength amounts included in ImmunoBlast safe?
Each vitamin and mineral has a Nutrient Reference Value (NRV), which may also be labelled as the Reference Intake (RI). This is a guidance level on the daily amount of that vitamin or mineral that the average healthy person needs to prevent deficiency. Any supplement that contains a vitamin or mineral will provide the proportion of the NRV value (% NRV). Many products will contain much higher levels than the NRV to provide optimum clinically effective dosages.

Dosage:
Take 1 tablet twice daily, or as directed.
Can tablet be split into a smaller size? Yes. A pill cutter may be required.

This product contains vitamin A. Do not exceed 750µg of vitamin A (as retinol) per day if pregnant or likely to become pregnant except on the advice of a doctor or antenatal clinic.

The vitamin D3 in this product is from lanolin – a vegetarian source of vitamin D3.
